Gelli Plate Art Journal page

Hello, my friends!
I love playing with my Gelli plate! It's so much fun! I also love my Dylusions art journals and this time I decided to use my small one. I pulled out my Amsterdam acrylic paints, my acrylic paint markers, fluorescent oil pastels, my Stabilo All pencil in black and my black and white Sharpies and started to play.
Here is what I created:

For the background I've used only three acrylic paints, black, white and fluorescent pink, with my Gelli plate. You probably noticed that I love to play with fluorescent colours lately :)
Deli paper is just perfect for collaging so I created some bits and added them to my background.
I stamped the image using my Paper Artsy stamp and deli paper again.

My favourite part was adding some doodling. I used my acrylic paint markers, fluo oil pastels, black and white Sharpies and my Stabilo All pencil in black for doodling and shading.

I stamped the quote (Paper Artsy) on a tag I bought in Ikea last year.

That's it for today!
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs! Branka xxx

  1. Branka, your artwork is such a joy to me, and this journal page is just what I need to jumpstart me on this dreary day after having just a few hours of sleep. it is amazing what you do with these neon colors; no one does brights in such a sophisticated way as you! I'd love to be able to sit down and watch you work! Big hugs!
