Gelli Plate Art Journal page

Hello, my friends!
I love playing with my Gelli plate! It's so much fun! I also love my Dylusions art journals and this time I decided to use my small one. I pulled out my Amsterdam acrylic paints, my acrylic paint markers, fluorescent oil pastels, my Stabilo All pencil in black and my black and white Sharpies and started to play.
Here is what I created:

Stamps And Stencils January challenge

Hello, my crafty friends!
The new challenge starts today at Stamps And Stencils and our hostess Cec has chosen the theme 'Oh So Blue'!

She describes in this way:
This time of year it is easy to start feeling blue now that the festivities surrounding Christmas are over and winter is making its presence known with less sun and more miserable weather so instead of giving in to it let's celebrate blue.  Create a primarily blue mixed media project that includes some stamping and/or stenciling.  You may add one other colour to your creation but it must be mostly blue.

This is my first challenge as a new member of the Stamps And Stencils DT and I am so excited.

I decided to create a mixed media card in vintage style and here is what I came up with:

Anything But Cute Mixed Media Challenge Blog - Challenge #9

Happy New Year, my friends!
Can you believe it's 2016 already! I hope you had a wonderful winter holidays time!
I am here today to announce our first challenge for 2016 at Anything But Cute and
our fabulous Anne has chosen the theme Ring out the Old, Bring in the New!

To celebrate the New Year, we would like you to create a mixed media card or project using something 'new'. Perhaps you got some fabulous new craft item for Christmas or you have something new that you have not used yet - just remember to tell us what the new item is!

I created a vintage looking art journal page using some of my new art supplies I've got for Christmas.
Here is the final result :)

Happy New Year art journal page

Happy New Year, my crafty friends!
I hope you all had a wonderful time during winter holidays!
Just a quick post today sharing my new art journal page. I used some of my new art supplies I got for Christmas, my Amsterdam and Liquitex acrylic paints, my Liquitex inks and acrylic markers.
I like to draw whimsical faces so I draw one and use some scrap paper to create a dress.
For the Christmas tree I used some canvas stripes.
I used my Inktense pencils, some fluorescent paint markers, my fluorescent oil pastels and my white sharpie for doodling.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for leaving sweet comments!
