Winter scene layout

Hi, everyone! I was inspired by Tim Holtz Tag for December 2014 to make this Winter scene layout and I used mostly his products to made this. I was also inspired by the words snow and bells from the poem Ring out the old, Ring in the new. For the base I used Simon Says Stamp woodgrain brown cardstock and I distressed it with distress ink in Vintage photo. Then I went with gold mica flakes paste arount it. I used Tim Holtz Pocket watch die and cut several layers of light chipboard. Then I used circle Sizzix die to cut the circle in the middle and painted the watch with distress paint in Picket fence. Then I put a coat of distress crackle paint in clear rock candy and went with distress stain in brushed corduroy on top to achieve the weathered look of the watch. For the background scene I used distress ink in Tumbled glass and Iced spruce. For the snow I used Tim Holtz Specks stamp and clear embossing powder. On top of the trees I put enamel accents in white color and I put snow paste at the bottom. I used seam binding for the bells and a silver snowflake from my stash.

For the metal plate I used gesso and distress crackle paint in clear rock candy as well as the several distress stains: Dried marigold, rusty hinge and gathered twigs. The corrugated cardboard I painted with cream acrylics paint. The Trellis Tim Holtz die is painted in weathered wood distress paint and then embossed with vintage photo distress embossing powder.

Vintage Shabby Christmas card

Hi! Here is the one in shabby style :) The card base is again from the corrugated cardboard which I love to use lately and I've just covered it slightly with gesso. I put a piece of an old note sheet, old dictionary page and some handmade post cards. I had two snowflakes in my stash and I put a distress glitter in rock candy on top. I used dried orange and a cinammon to embellish the card and I used memo pin from Tim Holtz to put the sentiment. A piece of a lace ribbon I attached with an old button.

December tag - Tim Holtz Monthly Tag 2014

Hello! This is my tag for Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2014 - December . Since I didn't have the emboosing folder that Tim used I used my Icicles embossing folder and I embossed the vellum (still waiting for my ordered Frosted). Then I went with distress stickles frosted lace over the embossed part of the tag. For the snow I used Tim Holtz speckles stencil and the picket fence distress paint.

Christmas card #2

Hi all! This is my second Christmas card for 2014. I used Tim Holtz door embossing folder to make a door. Then I used a brad to make a door knob and a wooden skate. For the wreath I used a wire and put a snow paste on it and a bell. On the top I put the ribbon and made a bow. Then I used a Sizzix die for the holiday green on the top of the card. The card base is from the craft cardstock which I distressed with a Vintage photo ink. Then I used a on of the Tim Holtz embossing folders to make a wooden look of the wall. The letters are from Tim Holtz Vintage market die painted in Tarnished brass distress paint. The cardstock I used for this card is Tim Holtz Nostalgic collection. Sorry for the bad photos....I am not good in taking pictures :(

Hi, all! This is the birthday card for my dad :) The card base is from kraft cardstock and I used Tim Holtz Hanging Sign die on the front. For the rust effect I used Vintage Photo embossing powder on Black Soot distress paint. Then I distressed it with the Rusty Hinge distress ink. The sign is embossed with Tim Holtz woodgrain embossing folder and then I used several distress stains to achieve the wood effect. Also, I cut the Vintage Valise shape (Tim Holtz die) from the white cardstock and used the Tammy Tutterow technique for the woodgrain effect. Seasonal inspiration...

Hi, everyone! I was inspired by seasonal colors to make this tag. I am Falling in Love with seasonal colors so I used almost all the seasonal colors I had for the background and the leaves. Some of them I cut from vellum and some from the manila cardstock. Also, I colored the seam binding with some distress stains and paints. The ink bottle I covered with distress crackle paint in Black Soot and then covered with distress crackle paint in Clear Rock Candy. For the bottom of the tag I used Springtime embossing folder.
I, also, used Tim Holtz Odds and Ends stamp set in black Archival ink and I stamped the Paris postal stamp in Sepia Archival ink.

October Tag

Hi! This is my October Tag. I used all the techniques Tim Holtz showed on his blog post 12 Tags of 2014-October but I used different stencils, colors...and my version of October tag is not a halloween tag but the Fall tag. For the technique with embossing and stenciling I used the Numbered stencil from Tim instead of using some stamps. I used the embossing ink through the stencil and then used the same stencil on a piece of cardstock, since I don't have a Tim's mask, cut the numbers (1and 0), used repositional glue to glue this image down on my embossed image on the tag and go with my stenciling using the modeling paste. For the pumpkin, I draw the image, colored with my gelatos, covered with gel medium then I used my artistic pens to give some accents to the image. I put a glossy accent on the top of the image like Tim did. For the leaves, I cut the shapes with Tim's dies, stamped them using Tim's leaves stamps, then I used several distress inks to color them and I covered them with distress crackle paint in Clear Rock Candy. For the background I used Woodgrain stencil and several color sprays (I don't have the new distress stain sprays). On the top of the tag I put a hand dyed seam binding ( I used the same colors as for the leaves).

Autumn Tag

Hi, all! This is my attempt to try some of the Tim  Holtz's techniques. For the background I used distress paints and inks. Then I stamped it with LaBlanche stamps. For the plate I used alcohol inks and glitter to get the rust look. Leaves are stamped, inked and then cut (Tim Holtz stamps and movers and shapers dies). I used Tim Holtz Merchantile stamp set for the bottle, inked it, cut with Tim Holtz  die (movers and shapers) and covered it with distress crackle paint Clear Rock Candy. The ticket is stamped with Tim Holtz calendar stamp. I put hand dyed seam binding on the top.
