I am back today with a Boho style card I created for my dear blog friend Samra from Paper Talk With Samra for her Birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMRA!
I used my Finnabair metallic paints to create my background on a piece of a mixed media paper. That beautiful metal piece I found in my stash and I glued down some gems to embellish it. I also added a piece of hand dyed seam binding and some blings and ribbons. I tucked some feathers behind the metal detail and I added a piece of some pink specialty yarn on top. I used my fine tip applicator and my antique gold acrylic paint to write her name.
I love how this metal detail turned out.
I had a lot of fun creating this card and I hope you like it!

Branka, your birthday card for Samra is so vibrant and lovely! The colors on the background and ribbons and feathers are so gorgeous and your embellishments are the perfect finishing touch. I love the touches of gold and your handwritten Samra in gold is a bold and daring move in my opinion! First my handwriting isn't great and I'd be so afraid of messing it up, I'd mess it up! I'm sure Samra's birthday today was made complete by receiving this wonderful, cheerful card! Big hugs and lots of love to YOU!

Oh my gosh, this is stunning, Branka!! What an amazing card for Samra!! I love the vibrant colors!! Wow!! The metal piece is gorgeous!! I love the feathers and that you hand-wrote her name in gold!!
