Floral Frenzy at Stamps and Stencils

Hi, friends!
I hope you are all safe and well!
I am back today with my new art journal page I created for our Floral Frenzy challenge at Stamps and Stencils!

Here is how our lovely Ruth describes her challenge theme:
Hopefully it's sizzling June....when beautiful blooms burst into life. Whether they're stamped, stencilled or handmade we want to see flowers as the main focus of your mixed media project.

I decided to use my handmade black art journal, my Dylusions paints and Tim Holtz mixed media die and here is what I came up with.

I used my brayer to apply my Dylusions paints on the background randomly.

Then I created some drips using my yellow Liquitex acrylic ink.

I applied my fluorescent acrylic paints on the manila cardstock and cut out the shapes using my Tim Holtz mixed media die.

To create my doodled flowers I used my fluo acrylic paints and the fine tip applicator.
I stamped the quote using my Dylusions quote stamps and my fluo acrylics markers.

I hope that I have inspired you to join us at Stamps and Stencils this month!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving lovely comments! I read and appreciate each and every one of them!

Hugs! Branka xx

    1. Yes, that's what it made me think of too - and there used to be black plastic screens with bright paint underneath which you could scratch a design into, and then "wipe" it and start again - happy memories! Ax
