Paper Art Doll Birthday card

Happy Valentine's, crafty friends!
I hope you are all well and safe!

Another paper art doll but this time not a vintage one. It's a Dylusional gipsy one.
I created this fun card for my lovely blog friend, a super talented artist and a wonderful teamie Sara Emily for her Birthday.
I wanted to create something funny to make her smile :) so I used vibrant colours and created that paper doll using my Dylusions stamps.

Paper doll's head, arms and legs are movable since I attached them with some tiny brads to the body, for Sara to play :)
I also used my Dylusions and Amsterdam acrylic paints for the background, some feathers, Molotow fluorescent pink paint marker, Copics and some trims and laces. For the card base, I used my heavy cardstock in black to make those 'crazy' colours pop.

  1. Wow, Branka! Your, I mean-- MY card looks awesome here! Your background really makes this movable doll pop! It's so shimmery and full of visual texture! But the paper doll itself is just so fun, full of brilliant color, and although you cannot fully appreciate it in the photos, the shading on this is stupendous! I wish everyone could hold this in their hands!!! I'm so blessed, because I CAN!!!! Such beautiful bold details on this, and a treasured card, for sure! I had so much fun posing her in all sorts of ways, and it was fun to play with paper dolls again! Big hugs and lots of love to you, my friend! Thank you for my awesome card!

The black cardstock as the base really made all of these fantabulous colors POP! I never would have known about the arms and legs moving because you have hidden the brads in such a genius way!! You did make me laugh. The designs you create and the colors you use are so very unique and done so amazingly, only you could achieve this masterpiece! Fantabulous! Hugz to you muffin! ~Niki
