Altered photo frame

Hello, crafty friends!
I am back today to share with you my new altered frame I created as a present for my dear friend!

I have to apologize since I totaly forgot to take a before picture :( It was just one of those plastic cheap photo frames you can buy at any dollar store.
My first step was to glue down all the elements to decorate the frame so I used some metal filigree corners, a litlle resin angel, a pair of metal wings, two wooden butterflies and some fabric and paper flowers.

Next, I put a coat of black gesso over the decorated frame and started to apply my Inka gold paints in several different colors. I also used some acrylic paints (gold, pink and turquoise) to add more colors to my flowers.

I hope you like it!
Thank you so much for stopping by and for leaving sweet comments!
Merry Christmas!
Hugs!
