Anything But Cute mixed media challenge #6

Hello, everyone! First, I would like to welcome my new lovely followers and to thank to my 'old' ones! Your great support means so much to me!

Today is 5th of October and it's time for our new challenge #6 at Anything But Cute mixed media challenge blog! This time, our hostess is my lovely teamie and blog friend, super talented artist, Sara Emily
She just love Halloween so much and she would like you to make a mixed media card or other project for Halloween. It can be spooky or not, but you MUST include the number "31" somewhere in your projectWe can't wait to see the creative ways you'll be incorporating this number in your mixed media piece!

was in the mood to create something funny so I decided to use some of my Dylusions supplies for this awesome challenge theme! I pulled out my big Dylusions journal, my Dylusions paint (favourites), Dyan's stamps, stencils, Dylusions ink sprays, my alcohol markers, some of my acrylic markers, white and black Sharpies and started to play. I enjoyed a lot creating this :)

Here is what I came up with:

At the beginning of my Halloween theme journey, I started to build my background using some yellow and orange Dylusions ink sprays and Dylusions black paint through my Andy Skinner's stencils over the top but then I realized that I wasn't happy with it. So, I painted everything in black. Dylusions paints are transparent and I love how my second layer turned out. Those yummy orange/yellow colours are visible enough under the coat of black paint.

For the third layer I used my Turquoise, light green and orange paints applying them with my brayer.

My next step was stenciling and I used the same three colours plus my pink one.

I love doodling and my Sharpie markers. I used Dylusions border stamps and my Archival white opaque ink on the edges. Then I used my black and white Sharpie markers and my white Posca pen to bold the borders.

I stamped images with my black Archival ink on a specialty stamping paper and coloured them with my alcohol markers, cut them out and glued them down on my pages. The mushrooms were coloured with my Molotow ink pump markers and my Faber Castell coloured pencils.

I thought that Tim's spider web die would be just perfect addition to my creation. I cut out the web out of my white cardstock and added my spiders (Dyan's stamp) and I outlined it with my white pen. I used my glitter marker to colour the eye glasses.
I made something like belt buckle and put a number 31 on it :)

I used a pair of toy doll eyes and added them to another character. How fun is that :)
The quote is handwritten using my white Sharpie. I draw a handbag, coloured with my markers and draw a number 31 on it.

I hope you like my Halloween art journal page and I encourage you to visit our Anything But Cute mixed media challenge blog for more inspiration and ideas!
