Smudge stamping technique tag

Hi there!
I would like to welcome my new followers and to share with you my entry for the fabulous Linda Ledbetter's Compendium of Curiosities 3 Challenge #26. This time we had to use the Tim's smudge stamping technique which is described in his Compendium of Curiosities 3 (page 42) and the generous sponsor for this challenge is The Funkie Junkie Boutique. I used one of my LaBlanche stamps for the focal image and a lot of Tim's stamps. The butterfly was sprayed with Perfect Pearl mists and some distress spray stains. I used several DI for the smudge stamping technique and to add some accents I used Tim's new star fasteners and a game spinner. The seam binding is hand dyed.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and leave a sweet comment!

  6. Branka...your tag is so very creative. I love it! You've done a fabulous job using Tim's smudge stamping technique. I, like Annette, love your selection of stamps. Love your focal point stamp of the lady's face. The hand filling in her lips with red is really awesome! I also love your dimensional butterfly. So pretty among all of those lovely stamped images. I love detail and the bits of Ideaology and dyed seam tape ribbon you've added really finish off this tag beautifully. Thanks for sharing this lovely tag with us at CC3C. <3 Candy
