Altered clock

Hi! I altered the clock. I've never done this before. This is new for me. Then I decided to use this clock as a photo portrait frame. I painted the clock with several acrylics paints to achieve the weathered look (Tim Holtz technique).  I used the sticker with an old photo from the Lost and Found Tim Holtz collection which I framed with industrial Tim Holtz frame. The crown ( Tim Holtz winged heart die) is cowered with Tarnished Brass distress stain. I cowered the pen nib with the rust powder (Craftynotions). I used several alcohol inks for the key. The enameled plate is from my stash as well as the post card charm which I also coated with alcohol inks. The canvas heart is Tim Holtz die and the Eiffel Tower is actually the key chain souvenir from Paris.

  2. What a fantastic finish you have achieved on your clock and I love all your detail on the inside and can see how it depicts a story of a young couple in love building memories in Paris. How lovely. Thanks for joining in the challenge at AVJ and good luck.
